    The SAT Syllabus covers all the topics that have already been included in the school syllabus. It consists of the following sections -

    • Mathematics

     

    The SAT currently only consists of one component, whereas formerly, it tested writing and reading in two different areas. Additionally, unlike the math portion of the exam, the science ideas are not assessed directly; the reading and writing sections contain passages that address the science subject content.     New Digital SAT Exam Syllabus 2025

    The officials have made many changes to the Digital SAT exam syllabus 2025. If you will appear in 2025, you must know about these changes.

    • The college board made changes to the exam time duration. Now, the Digital SAT exam time is 2 hours 14 minutes.

    • 64 minutes are now set aside for "Reading and Writing" and 70 minutes for "Math," as opposed to 3 hours.

    • The "Reading and Writing & Language" sections of the verbal section have been combined into a single "Reading and Writing" section.

    • There will be shorter passages with a single relevant question in each section or set of passages.

    • The questions will be divided into 4 main categories for the Reading and Writing section: Standard English Conventions, Information and Ideas, Expression of Ideas, and Craft and Structure.

    • The part on quantitative aptitude will cover a greater variety of topics.

    • A calculator can be used in the SAT Math section throughout the exam.

    • There will be a reduction in word problem length.

    • There will be an implementation of a new format known as "Multistage Adaptive Testing." Accordingly, questions appropriate for the pupils' performance level will now be given to them.

     

    Changes in SAT Syllabus 2025

    Since the introduction of Digital SAT, there have been modifications to the SAT syllabus. The main notable changes in the SAT Syllabus 2025 are the number of questions, exam time, and total sections.

     

    Moreover, the Reading and Writing (RW) section of the SAT exam has been integrated and includes shorter and more concise questions. In addition, SAT Math has 2 separate sections where you can use a calculator, which was not allowed previously.
