MD Full Form - Doctor of Medicine

What is the full form of MD?

MD stands for Doctor of Medicine. Students can pursue an MD, a three-year postgraduate degree, after finishing an MBBS program. In nonsurgical specialities, an MD is recognised following three years of training. Given that MD is a postgraduate degree, candidates must hold an MBBS degree in order to be considered for the course. The Union Governmental Service Commission (UPSC) administers the Joint Medical Services Exam each year in order to hire these doctors into a variety of governmental agencies.
