UK announces PSW for International students

The U.K has announced a 2 year post study work permit and 3 year post study work permit for PHD students. All students can apply for their psw from 1st July 2021.

Those who can not travel to the U.K due to Covid have been granted an extension till 1st April 2022 to travel to the U.K and apply for their PSW.

Also, Home Secretary Priti Patel has confirmed that refugees coming from various countries will be given a 5 year work permit if they can prove their skill as per point based immigration system.

The Boris Johnson government has continuously shown signs that they want the best people to travel to the U.K and are constantly changing their immigration rules. Students who were at one point considering the UK as their last option for education are now considering the U.K as priority.
