If you are applying for a student VISA in Canada, you need to lodge your file in the SDS category. The reason being there is a very slim chance for you to get a VISA in the non-SDS category. Keep in mind that a student visa is only valid for a limited time and must be renewed every six months or one year. As a result, a visa officer must have confidence in your ability to return to your home country when your approved stay expires. Previous travels, family connections in Canada and the nation of residency, and what the aim of this visit is could all lead a visa officer to deny your application. In addition, your immigration status, financial situation, or previous history in Canada may be cited as reasons for denial.
Make sure you have all of the necessary paperwork, such as a current passport, recent photographs, and correctly filled out applications. These documents will be used by the visa officer to assess whether or not you are eligible to enter the country of Canada. Make sure you fill out all the required areas and that they are clear.

Having a poor SAT/ACT score can raise red flags with a visa officer about your ability to succeed in an English-taught course abroad.
