Describe an object you find particularly beautiful cue card sample answer 1

Introduction

Every now and then, people encounter beautiful things. These could be objects, artwork, or sculptures, among many other things. Likewise, I want to discuss an attractive and appealing object.

Where is the artwork/object?

I am mentioning an antique lamp made out of a single pearl that I saw at my uncle’s house. He is an antique collector and fancies doing this as a hobby.

How was it made?

The lamp has intricate carvings on it, which was done by hand. Even though I am still amazed by the fact that such a big piece of pearl existed, as my uncle told me, it used to be in possession of kings earlier, so its origin is still unknown.

What does it look like?

It is different-looking from a normal lamp, but it is small enough to fit a whole bulb. The outer has a beautiful design and carvings that look like different kinds of flowers. As it is an antique piece, it is a bit destroyed due to time, but still looks amazing and beautiful.

And explain why you find it particularly beautiful.

The most attractive thing about that object is its creativity and the fact that it is made from a single piece of pearl. Another thing that fascinates me about this particular object is that I have never seen anything that beautiful before, and earlier, the kings and queens of India had such extensive and refined taste in decorating their spaces.

Conclusion

To conclude, objects like the pearl lamp are pretty fascinating and make me wonder what treasures India must have had in earlier times.

Describe an object you find particularly beautiful cue card sample answer 2

Introduction

In our daily lives, we see various things here and there, some of which are exceptionally beautiful. Likewise, I want to discuss about an object that I found particularly beautiful.

Where is the artwork/object?

The object I want to talk about is a beautiful sculpture of the Hindu goddess Durga. I saw that particular sculpture in a temple in Kolkata while passing by a familiar route.

How was it made?

The sculpture was entirely made of white Makrana stone and was carved to perfection.

What does it look like?

The sculpture of the Hindu Goddess was approximately 3 to 4 feet long and carved out of white marble. Its beauty is its colours and the beauty of the eyes and other features of the goddess.

And explain why you find it particularly beautiful.

I find that particular sculpture beautiful because I was mesmerised by how intricate the detailing and carvings were. Moreover, the features painted on the sculpture were a perfect blend of softness and fierceness that the Goddess showcases.

Describe an object you find particularly beautiful cue card sample answer 3

Introduction

I think the perfect example of beautiful artwork is in museums, palaces, and various other places with some historical significance. Today, I want to share about a particular artwork that attracted me.

Where is the artwork/object?

The artwork is still present in the four walls of Amber Fort, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

How was it made?

The artwork I am mentioning is a painting done on an entire wall of a room in a palace. It is basically a room of paintings done during the Mughal age and has a design that resembles a mix of Mughal and Rajasthani cultures.

What does it look like?

The entire room is blue and white and has a beautiful design of flowers and other patterns, including the roof. When the Mughals came to India, they also brought their Mughal architecture, culture, and artworks, which is why we can see some resemblance in Indian heritage.

And explain why you find it particularly beautiful.

I found that artwork beautiful because I like the colour blue and the combination of blue and white appeals to me. It creates a soothing appearance and calming effect. What attracted me to that artwork is how prominent the colours still are and what materials and paint colours people would have used then, which is why it is still so beautiful.

Conclusion

To sum up, artwork can be found anywhere at any given time; there is no set definition of what one might find beautiful, and it solely depends on what appeals to someone.
