Cue cards are a prominent component of the IELTS speaking exam, where candidates must talk for around two minutes on a specific topic. This blog focuses on the second part of the speaking test, which is to describe a creative person whose work you like. You will receive a solid speaking section score and an overall band score if you know how to approach this segment correctly.
If you properly attempt this part, you can score well on the IELTS speaking cue card. You will have one minute to prepare your response in this phase and two minutes to talk on the assigned topic. Therefore, read the blog till the end and explore some of the sample answers to this cue car topic. So, let's get this blog started!

There are creative people all around us, and when we meet them, we often wonder where their gift of creativity comes from. Some people use artistic home décor as a way to showcase their creativity, others in their kitchen through their magical recipes, and some through paintings. However, only a few people have exceptionally creative and innovative minds.
I want to write about this creative woman who is also my best friend Komal's grandmother. Her name is Savita, and she is in her late sixties. She always manages to make something beautiful out of what we discard. Whenever I go to her place, I see her getting involved in creating something useful out of the waste.
She doesn’t like to sit free. Instead, she believes in utilising her free time and doing something innovative. She's made a lot of things out of scrap paper. I've seen some of the artworks done by her grandmother, like how she created a photo frame out of waste paper, which looked quite wonderful. I visit her house frequently, and each time, I discover something new made by Savita Aunty. The last time I saw her, she was making tote bags out of old clothes. Her tote bag was sturdy and had a great appearance.
Komal’s grandmother strikes me as incredibly inventive because she can make use of almost anything in the house. She has designed flower pots from used oil cans and abandoned bottles. There are beautiful things throughout her house that she did not buy from the market. These are all products of her grandmother's creative mind.

I once experienced something that showed me creativity isn't limited to anything and can be applied to any kind of work, including cooking. This happened while I was having dinner at a restaurant.
Once, I went for dinner at a restaurant with a chef, his name was Vikas. He was the chief chef at that restaurant.
After having a main course, we decided to order some dessert for ourselves. We had great expectations for the dessert because it was pricey. The dessert's presentation was so exquisite that we were astounded. Its beauty surprised us so much that we just wanted to look at it rather than eat it. It looked so tempting. We requested that the waiter contact the chef, and we were delighted to speak with him.
He did an excellent job of presenting the dessert with all the garnishing. We admired his cooking skills and got to know that he had done his culinary art training in Malaysia. He is a master in the preparation of desserts. I never imagined cooking could be such a creative outlet.
One extremely innovative thing about him was the manner he presented the dessert, which was magnificent and still had a wonderful taste, thanks to the lovely and creative recipe.
How much we like our jobs determines our level of job satisfaction. When someone enjoys what they do, they work hard to improve it, and the outcomes are amazing.

We are inspired by many people in our lives. Similarly, I respect people who I consider braver, more gifted, and more creative than I am. I believe that we should all strive to be like them and grow in life.
Creative ability doesn't come naturally to everyone. Creative and innovative people are rare and far between. Here, I'd like to highlight Anubhav Jain, my tuition teacher of physics, whom I considered quite creative.
He owns our coaching institute and has hired ten professors to train students in his classes.
Attending his classes was a great pleasure. He made learning concepts of physics interesting and enjoyable for us. During his instructional hours, we were never bored. He explained everything quite logically and descriptively. He made us so comfortable that anybody could ask any question easily without hesitation. Overall, we had fun in his lesson.
Last but not least, I believe he is the most inspiring and motivating teacher that I have ever come across. His ideas and improvements in the classroom will increase each student's academic achievement. This type of teaching style is desperately required, especially in today’s modern era.
In the end, I think he is the world's most amazing teacher because he is so creative in his approach to teaching and because he helped me understand physics even though it is a challenging subject for me.

Question: Is it good for children to learn arts?
Answer: Learning arts may certainly encourage their prospective qualities such as creativity, inventiveness, independent thinking, emotional management, and so on. It is good for their general development and provides them with something creative to do in their spare time. If a child is overly interested in the arts, he or she can pursue that interest as a career.
Question: Do you think you are a creative person?
Answer: I consider myself to be creative. People have complimented me on my ability to paint and draw.
Question: Do you think leaders need to have creative ability?
Answer: Yes, I believe that leaders must be creative. People will cease following them if they are not creative since they will appear uninteresting to them, but if they bring creativity to their work, talk, and the way they do things, they will continue to have followers.
Question: What kind of jobs require people to be creative?
Answer: I believe that people must be creative in all jobs. People who are not creative may find their jobs monotonous and tedious after only a few days. If a task must be repeated repeatedly, some element of inventiveness must be incorporated. For example, an engineer must think of new ways to do things; a plumber must learn new things every day to make his work better and simpler; a carpenter must learn new ways to do things that will add grace to his work; and a teacher must think of new ways to teach so that children do not become bored.
Question: Should we encourage creativity in educational institutes?
Answer: There will be many types of students in an educational institute who are interested in various subjects. Some people are interested in academics, while others are interested in sports and the arts. As a result, it is critical to stimulate creativity in schools and universities so that students can learn what they are interested in.
