Reason for Canadian Visa Refusal
Canada is one of the top study abroad destinations where many international students prefer to study. Canadian universities are known for providing quality education to international students. In order to study in Canada, international students must have to apply for a student visa.
Earlier the visa success rate was 80% which has now come down to less than 50%. International students are facing problems due to more than 50% of visa refusals. Even the students with 8 Band Scores in IELTS and more than 90% marks in 12th are also facing the problem of visa refusal. The PSW (Post Study Work) has also stopped for many colleges and there is high pressure on private colleges by the Canadian Government. Let’s discuss the reason for this problem and the solution, which will be helpful for the students who are planning to go for study in Canada.
Firstly the reason is fake documents, fake tuition fee receipts and package systems. You might have heard some agents allow and encourage the package system, that the students should do their admission application to the university and visa application through the package system. Some of the agents even force students to only opt for the package system and they won’t be providing any other option. Whereas, the honest and trusted Indian Consultancies having tie-up with the universities and colleges do not encourage the package system.
Basically in the package system, the agents arrange for the receipt of tuition fee from any of the private universities/colleges established in Canada by any of the Indian, Pakistani or any other member of an Asian country without paying the tuition fee. For this system, Canada also has very famous terms i.e. FPR (Fake Payment Receipt). Recently the Canadian government has identified many private universities/ colleges involved the activity of FPR. Due to this reason only, suddenly the visa refusal rate has increased to more than 50%.
Apart from this, the number of students who are applying to study in Canadian universities has increased. Also, the working style of the Canadian embassy has been scrutinized as there is difficult to know which document is original and which is a fake document.
If students are going for the package system, then there is a very high chance of their visa refusal. Due to this manipulation in the process and FPR, genuine students, genuine consultancies and genuine colleges are facing the problem. Furthermore, the students are advised to avoid fake IELTS or PTE results to prove their English proficiency, as, without skills and genuine eligibility, you will only be able to reach Canada but won’t be able to have a job in Canada.
