Hello friends,
Today, we will mostly focus on the University of East London admission process, the scholarships available, and how to apply.
If you wish to begin a full-time degree at UEL in September, you must apply online via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service's (UCAS) website's 'Apply' option. UCAS will begin accepting applications on 1 September of the year preceding the commencement of your study.
When applying via UCAS, you'll need the institution's unique UCAS code (ELOND), the UEL code (E28), and the UCAS code for the course you wish to pursue. This code is located on the relevant course page.
Additionally, you must pay a charge to UCAS to submit your application. This can be done online or through your school or college's UCAS-accredited website.
If you are an applicant, you must submit a complete application (including a personal statement and supporting papers), which will be evaluated against our internal criteria. Scholarships range from £1,000 to £3,000, deducted from the first year's tuition fees (depending on your course program). If you are offered a seat and determined to be eligible for an international scholarship, the grant amount will be specified in your offer letter.
International Scholarships are awarded at the University's discretion and are only accessible to international students who are fee-paying and enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate taught program. Different programs may require varying sums, and applicants should keep in mind that not all applications will be accepted.
Whether you're looking to expand your professional experience, acquire new skills, or foster new thinking, a postgraduate course can assist you. To assist students with the financial burdens associated with continued education; this Postgraduate Scholarship provides a 50% discount on course fees.
You must have applied for a postgraduate taught course beginning in September 2022 and have been rated as a Home student for fee purposes. You cannot apply for the UEL postgraduate scholarship if you are enrolled in a collaborative partner institution, enrolled in a distance or online learning program, enrolled in a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), enrolled in a Professional Diploma in March architecture (ARB/RIBA Part 2), enrolled in a professional doctorate, MPhil, PhD, or enrolled in an integrated masters program. Additionally, MA Social Work students who receive government financing are ineligible to apply.
The University of East London admits students three times a year in January, March, and September. The deadlines for applying to courses vary according to the intake and the course being applied for. For international students applying for undergraduate degrees through UCAS, the application period begins in mid-May and ends on January 15 for the majority of undergraduate courses. The deadline for the majority of courses in Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine/Science is October 15. Universities begin admitting students in September.
Due to the limited number of seats available on many programs and the fact that admission is on a first come, first served basis, the University of East London encourages students to apply as soon as possible. Applications submitted early have a greater probability of earning an admission offer. International students are needed to visit the individual degree page on the university website for special dates for postgraduate applications.
We hope this session is beneficial in terms of facilitating your application to the University of East London. Thank you.
