US Embassy Reduces Visa Backlogs
The USA is one of the best study-abroad destinations for overseas students. The various world-ranked universities and high education standards attract many international students to study in US. The universities offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to support students’ dream careers. Generally, USA Universities offer three intakes, i.e., January, May, and September. Before moving to study in USA, international students have to file for an F-1 visa (US student visa).
Students who have applied for the January 2023 intake were worried about the visa backlogs. But, recently, the US embassy has found new solutions to redistribute visa workloads to embassies and consulates to ensure optimal capacity. This will reduce the backlogs by 36%. Also, the embassy is trying to create the same process, which was previous to COVID till the summer 2023 intake.
Moreover, students who wish to study in USA in the upcoming intakes, i.e., May 2023 and September 2023, may contact our expert counsellors at any branch of Meridean Overseas Education Consultants (MOEC).
