Student Visa Delay in UK and Canada
Studying abroad is a dream of many students. The countries like UK and Canada are the most preferred destination among international students. Generally, the UK provides two intakes to international students - one in September and another in January. Canada, on the other hand, provides three intakes - September, January, and May. In order to study in UK or Canada, international students have to apply for a student visa first.
Currently, there are various students who are facing the problem of visa delay. Earlier the visa process for UK that used to take 3-4 weeks now takes 6-8 weeks. Moreover, the students are also facing delays in their passports. Students can complain to UKVI if they are unable to get their passports from VFS. But the complaint for any grievance against UKVI is also supposed to be filed with UKVI. Students are trying to complain to VFS but that cannot lead to any resolution. Whereas if we talk about Canada, the visa process is even delayed to 6 months. As a solution to the problem of Canada and UK Visas, international students can mail to the embassy rather than approaching the VFS office.
