Updates on Priority and super priority Visas by UKVI
The UK Visa and immigration offers the facility of priority and super priority visas for people who want to visit the United Kingdom urgently. Generally, the UK visa process takes approximately 15 days. But the priority visa application process is completed in 5 to 7 days. Whereas if we talk about super priority visas, the process takes a day or 2.
But due to the Ukraine war, the UKVI had closed the priority visa and super priority visa services. This led to a delay in student visas for September 2022 Intake. Moreover, late CAS letters from the universities caused further delays in the process.
But now, UKVI has resumed its PV and SPV services. The VFS has given updates on their website about the initiative of priority and super priority appointments. So now, the students will get to opt for PV and SPV while submitting an online visa application. The update says that the appointments of SPV applications are to be kept constant, whereas appointments for PV applications are reduced.
So, if the students are planning to go UK for September 2022 Intake and have not received the CAS letter till now, they may file in PV and SPV services. By filling for the PV and SPV, they will get the visas within 5-7 days and one day, respectively.
Moreover, the applications for the January Intake have already started. Also, many universities have mentioned their course list, which they will be running for the January Intake. So, the students who wish to study in UK universities may contact our expert counsellors. The counsellors will provide you with the best support and guidance for admission in UK Universities and UK visas.
