What is GC-Key?

A GC- Key is a unique electronic credential (username and password) offered by the Government of Canada on the IRCC website. Through GC-key, international students can communicate securely with online government services. Earlier, international students submitted used to submit their visa files by physically going to VFS. But after the pandemic, international students can upload all their details online through GC-key. They can also get all the updates regarding their files through CG-Key only. Students must use their GC- Key at least once in 2 years so that it does not get expire.
