Though Abertay University, Scotland, was founded in 1994, you can still track its establishment history from 1888 with the Dundee Institute of Technology. This institute was identified in 1902 by the Scottish Education Department as an important educational hub and got the Abertay University status in 1994 with the name Abertay Dundee. Then in 2014, it was renamed Abertay University.

For BSc Mental Health Nursing and MSc Counselling, the English language requirements are higher with an overall score of 7.0 for IELTS, or an equivalent qualification.
