Speech and language therapists assess and treat a wide variety of speech, language and communication problems. Our course, which provides a route into this profession, is the longest established in Scotland and one of the oldest in the UK. You'll have access to a speech research laboratory facility which houses equipment designed for the recording and analysis of speech. Specific software allows the investigation of many aspects of speech, in particular, voice and prosody.
