The Master of Arts in Educational Foundations is a thesis-based program which requires the completion of 5.0 units: 4.0 units of coursework plus a 1.0 unit thesis. The “foundations of education” are three distinct scholarly traditions of practice – philosophy of education, history of education, and sociology of education – that inform education and conceptualize frameworks for education research.
