Description: Scholars from Indian institutions can apply for Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowships to conduct some of their research in a US institution. To achieve this scholarship, you must submit your PhD thesis.
Benefit: Support in J-1 Visa, a monthly stipend, air travel allowance, and accident and sickness coverage.
Description: Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowships is awarded to extraordinary Indian students who are interested in pursuing MS degrees in US. The scholarship intends to develop the next generation of charitable leaders who will fight to improve their communities. Students must have at least 55% in their bachelor’s degree and be involved in community services to be eligible for this scholarship.
Benefit: Approx. 30,000 EUR and compensation for airfare
Description: The Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship is a fully financed fellowship for Indian students administered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. However, to achieve this fellowship, the candidate should have the same standing as a junior research fellow at Oxford University. Apart from this, students should also have 60% or above till the PhD, and their age must be between 30 to 40 years.
Benefit: 1,100 - 1,200 EUR per month allowance and Tuition fees, library, insurance and more.
Description: The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree is a fully financed fellowship offered by the European Union to Indian students enrolled in integrated master's programmes. It is a Merit-based scholarship available for students who wish to apply for graduate-level degrees.
Benefit: Varies from 1,00,000 INR to 10,00,000 INR
Description: One of the most well-known scholarship programmes is the JN Tata Endowment Scholarship. If you want to pursue a higher education at a global university, you are eligible for this government award for students.
Benefit: Up to 10,000 USD
Description: Young Indian students are eligible for Inlaks scholarships if they wish to pursue a full-time master's, MPhil, or doctoral course at one of the best universities in the US, Europe, or the UK.
However, business and finance, computer science, fashion design, engineering, public health, management studies, medical, dentistry, associated therapies, and music fields are not eligible for scholarships from the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation.
