Higher education from an overseas country has always been a dream for international students. It is indeed a big decision to make for students to choose the country to study abroad.
As per the latest international ranking of higher education centres, London remains the best city in the world to be a university student. With this London is placed ahead of the competitive cities such as Tokyo, Boston, and Berlin.
With the presence of world-leading institutions such as Imperial College, University College London, and King’s College London, high ratings for its openness to international students along with graduate career opportunities make the capital still holds the top spot for the third year, despite the low marks for affordability.
Munich secured second place, while Tokyo and Seoul ranked third ahead of Berlin, Melbourne, Zurich, and Sydney. Paris holds 8th place in the league, Montreal and Boston tied for ninth place.

The education researchers QS Quacquarelli Symonds, based on its own chart tables, surveys of 85,000 current and prospective students across the world, created this city ranking. This survey was covered inside the cities with a population of something like 250,000 put in the QS world university rankings.

Boston city ranked top in the US and it is indeed because of the presence of universities “Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard. But the tuition fees of the universities and the cost of living in the cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco are very high.
Apart from this, metrics such as pollution, crime, safety, and corruption make the US cities low preferred cities in the desirability ratings.
