CAE Full Form - Certificate in Advanced English

What is the Full Form of CAE?

CAE stand for the Certificate in Advanced English. Many international organisations accept CAE as a trustworthy and consistent indicator of proficiency in using English in challenging academic contexts. Many Indian students are now taking the CAE in place of the IELTS when applying to international universities.

The University of Cambridge's Cambridge ESOL department, which also creates the IELTS exams, administers the exam. Nearly all UK colleges and universities accept the CAE as evidence of strong English proficiency, which is a prerequisite for entrance to many colleges and universities. Institutions in Australia and other nations recognise the exam as well; 99% of the top 100 universities in the globe accept the CAE credential for postsecondary study.

The majority of foreign colleges that take the CAE exam require their overseas candidates to have a grade of B or C. More than 60,000 candidates are selected for CAE tests across 60 nations.

Who is Eligible for CAE?

Anybody! The age to enrol in CAE is unlimited. Although some colleges require a two-year-old CAE score before accepting applications, students who have finished post-secondary school are also eligible to apply for the CAE exam. Preferred applicants for the exam are those who will be taking the 10+1 or 10+2 exams. If you intend to study overseas following your senior year, there are a few tests you need to take beforehand.
