Italy announces the big and extremely big opportunity for work visa aspirants as the Decreto Flussi 2022 now comes into reality. The wait is over now as Prime Minister Mario Draghi signed the official Decreto Flussi document on 23 December 2021. This document concerning the transitional entry of non-EU individual workers for seasonal jobs and non-seasonal jobs in Italy has been signed for the year 2022.
According to this, non-EU citizens can be admitted to Italy, from March 2022 onwards, a maximum quota of 69,700 individuals is already assigned to them. The quotas will be divided between the various regions and the provinces, decided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies. By presenting a special circular provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies to the National Labour Department, this declaration will become into existence.
Out of this maximum available quota of 69,700 individuals, there are separate quotas for various segments or Workers or categories, required details are provided below.

Seasonal subordinate or workers who will work in the agricultural and tourism-hotel sectors. This category involves jobs like Flower Plucking, Fruit Plucking, and Fruit Packaging. Travel Guide Etc. Applications start from 9:00 on 1 February 2022 for the hiring of seasonal workers. Visa Duration will vary from 6 months to 9 months. |

This quota is assigned for non-seasonal subordinates who will work in the construction and tourism-hotel sectors, road transport. Applications Starts From 9:00 am on January 27, 2022, for the hiring of these non-seasonal workers, for self-employed workers and for conversions. Visa Duration will vary from 9 months to 12 months |
7,000 |
This quota is reserved for those individuals who have to convert the residence permit that they already held for reason into work. For example, Existing Students currently reside in Italy on PSW or Work Finding Visa. Visa Duration will vary from 9 months to 12 months |

Special categories of Foreign workers who have completed their education and training programs in their countries of origin according to art. 23 of the legislative document 25 July 1998. |
